After a long time im back to my blogs. Last few months I couldn’t involve in any blogging as I was so busy. Anyway here I’m again with a strong news.
Our badge (08) and our junior badge(09) decided to organize a event where the students of Agri Faculty and the other faculties of university of Peradeniya can sing on the same stage with one or two well known singers…
When the suggestion comes it was just neglected at the born place by lot of our guy because this can’t let be a joke, and the program should be held @ university gymnasium
Anyhow with lot of arguments the proposal was confirmed and finally it was named as ‘MIYURU SARA’ the total idea was to invite famous singer Bandara Athauda and Sirasa Super Star singer Supun Perera.it was a pleasure that Supun also a undergraduate of university of Peradeniya.
All other singers were students of our and other faculties who are having great talents and didn’t get a chance to show them.
Before one week to the MIYURU SARA the stage is planned to build up by Mahesh. He did it in unbelievable manner with a very low cost. You may not believe if I told you what had been he used… they were just pieces of mirrors, strings, a sari and the university boxing ring. J J
`Music is totally supplied by faculty of agriculture, I’m saying it proudly ;) all credits of it should go to Babu and Katta malli.
The MIYURU SARA was ready to start by 7.30pm on Thursday(02-09-2011) but the nature did a little disturb at the beginning as it was raining so it caused to reduce the amount of audience but at the middle of the show everything was fine. Dr K.S.S Kodithuwakku open the” MIYURUSARA 2011” at the first time.
With the good wishes of all invitees and the audience the show was ended at 11.30pm but it was only for audience, after the end it was restarted for the once who made their all courage to be success this program.
Finally a great effort was harvested as the MIYURUSARA 2011 with the happy tears of 08 and 09 Agros………..!!
